North To Alaska

Leaving on the ferry for Friday Harbor where I’ll spend the night in the Historic Inn and then board the Delphinus on Tuesday morning May 30th for a trip up along the coast of the British Columbia Great Bear Rainforest and into the Inside Passage.

Wed May 31 - Gulf Islands, Straits of Georgia, Cape Mudge, Campbell River
Thu June 1 - Seymour Narrows, Discovery Passage, Johnstone Strait, Telegraph Cover
Fri June 2 - Queen Charlotte Sound, Calvert Island
Sat June 3 - Inside Passage North, Bella Bella
Sun June 4 - Princess Royal Island
Mon June 5 - Prince Rupert, Dixon Entrance
Tues June 6 - Misty Fiords, Ketchikan
Wed June 7 - Ketchikan
Then I’ll make a return trip on the Alaska Marine Highway System ferry where I’ll set up camp in the solarium on the top deck. I’ll end up in Bellingham on Fri Jun 9. And from there make my way back home. No postings until June 11. This adventure is a long time dream come true!
